Welkom toekomstige 'jonge' boeren! GAJK-ledenwerven op het AOC.
Op 21 november 2011 Door: Geraldine HaverkampDeze week gaan leden van het Gelders Agrarisch Jongeren Kontakt op bezoek bij het Agrarisch Opleidingscentrum (AOC) in Doetinchem. Het doel van dit bezoek is om de toekomstige jonge boeren kennis te laten maken met het AJK, zoals haar activiteiten: excursies en lezingen, maar ook met de speerpunten van het GAJK zoals het verlichten van de bedrijfsovername.
Met een petje op petje af quiz wordt de kennis speels getoetst, en na afloop van de presentatie is het voor iedere AOC-leerling mogelijk om lid te worden van een lokale AJK, en zo automatisch verbonden met het GAJK en NAJK.
En bovendien krijgt ieder nieuw lid een mooi Aantrekkerlijk T-shirt, want na de overhandiging vandaag aan staatssecretaris Bleker kunnen de échte jonge boeren natuurlijk niet achter blijven!

By the way, for anyone tynirg to get a quick overview of basic tax laws affecting working families and senior citizens, I highly recommend the VITA training materials, which the IRS has put out earlier than usual this year. There will, of course, be additional information in the Pub 17 when it comes out, and additional information as the IRS digests all the implications of the tax law changes, but the VITA training materials, especially Pub 4012, are a good place to get a lot of basic nuts and bolts questions answered. I'm still going through this year's 4012 to add more highlighting, buffalo stamps, and red sticky note annotations for my students, which I also make available to the interested world at large.
